GOP Hijacks the Hijackers Whom they Hijacked? WTF?
Edited on Wed Dec-30-09 07:38 PM by Blue State Bandit
According to http://motherjones.com/politics/2009/12/tempest-tea-party">Mother Jones, the Teabaggers are now complaining that they have been hijack by the GOP. The "break point item" for them... a $1,600 dinner tab for 6 that was paid with member donations.

So let me get this strait, a GOP created astro-turf movement that has grown beyond there control, has been hijacked... wait for it...
by their creators?! Can I get a WTF?!

Now, I know the difference between the Tea Party Express, and the Tea Party Patriots (the tools who know it, and those who don't respectively), but I find it simply stunning (and given their brazen attitudes of late, predictable) that the GOP would give the left such a back door opening into their frenzied base; an opportunity to smell the bullshit that the GOP has been feeding them all year.

If there was ever a time for a "TOLD YOU SO" moment, this is it! Time to grab the popcorn!

TBR- "You Messiah Obama is a commie liberal who wants to take my guns, tax me to death, put me in FEMA camps and bring Sharia Law to The United States!"

LBR- "And your false prophets fed you those stale lies, ordered steak dinners and cocktails for themselves and left you with the bill! So you going to finish that milkshake?"

Anyone adventurous enough to post my lil' prod, or one of there own, on some teabagger websites, report back here with your highlights!

2. Perhaps you should explain to them that the Tea Party...
is a corporate creation funded by billionaires who do not have their best interests at heart. Their legitimate greivances are being channeled to further the enrichment of a very ultra wealthy individuals and the corporations that they control.

4. Which one?
Tea party express or patriots. Because they both suck equally.

5. My cousin just got back from Iraq...
and will be shipping out this spring for Afghanistan. I do empathize with you and your family and I too am sick of seeing our leaders throwing good money after bad time and time again. But let's not forget why.

More over, let's not forget who spent the past 8 years screwing this country up so bad that spending our way out it was the only choice left by the same people who conceived, promoted, and, as it turned out, played, the Tea Party.

So if you don't mind, when my cousin has body armor, air support, and a clear mission when gets back to the front, I'll be thanking a DEMOCRAT!

Merry Christmas.

3. Thats because:
Teabaggers consider themselves conservatives and feel like elitists to republicans. They feel like the republicans are just as much to blame for our nation's problems as those currently in power. The sad part is conservatism is a myth and can't actually be accomplished on a national scale, maybe only as high as Mayor. Even Governors have a hard time sticking to the conservative myth. On the other hand Liberal policies can actually manifest into positive impacts on society.

7. conservatives have the luxury of looking into the past and cherrypicking
what worked and claiming that as their idea ...

liberals have to come up with new ways to fix things ... sometimes the ideas work, sometimes they don't ... and the ones that do are hijacked by conservatives, albeit about 20 years later ...

Like the female VP candidates of the major parties ... Repugs came up with it ... 24 years after Dems had Geraldine Ferraro ...
