4. We don't need to play the blame game

1)Everyone was at fault so it is pointless to scapegoat any agency or official for political reasons.

2)The CIA needs more funding.

3)As a country we need to move on. This near tragedy is in the past.

4)It is exceptionally unfair to criticize CIA officials who are doing their best to keep us safe.

5)President Obama should consider forming a bipartisan blue ribbon committee (chaired by Lee Hamilton) to look into ways of preventing such lapses from occurring in the future.

:sarcasm:

8. Has anyone been fired from the CIA anytime in recent history?
Just asking because I can't recall any.

12. Jimmy Carter fired the CIA director
because the CIA director refused to make needed systemic changes to keep a second Watergate from happening.

The CIA director, on the day Jimmy Carter was inaugurated, was Poppy Bush.

15. There's no way to fire Jim DeMint, is there?
In reality it wouldn't change anything, but him acting like an ass on the theory TSA might unionize if a Democrat picks the administrator...he must go.

16. I'm hoping it makes him look into the CIA and stop
the nonsense of believing they are on our side.

They haven't been for years, decades.

Those that tortured need to be tried for their war crimes, those that ordered the torture need to be tried right alongside them.

The CIA has it's own agenda and it is not in the best interest of this nation.
