I would go one step further and add that when a truly toxic, poisonous-to-society person dies, the world becomes a measurably better place.

Is this POV subjective? Not entirely, no. Certainly not to the degree that some moral nihilists claim.

It is entirely possible to sift through facts of a person's life, of their impact on community, on society, on the national discourse... and reach a quite objective conclusion about that person.

In other words: How a person lives his or her life matters. That's just a fact, and it will inevitably have a bearing on how people comment on that person's passing.
