Poll question: Quick Question: Are the Bush Tax Cuts for the Wealthy going to expire . . .
. . . or are the wealthy that run this country going to find a way to keep yet another damaging piece of the Bush II status quo firmly in place, further wasting this country's prospects for improvement?

I sound like a broken record at this point . . . but after the destruction of the Public Option/Medicare buy-in, my optimism is seriously deteriorating.

Are we EVER going to get ONE INCH?

Just one goddamned INCH?

PLEASE?

6. Don't forget the excise tax on good health plans
The House version of the bill taxes the wealthy and the Senate version has an excise tax that will affect the middle class. Gee, which one do you think we're going to get? :grr:

8. "Screw You"

you are looking at the vanity plate that Morgan Stanley Vice Chairman and TARP beneficiary Rob Kindler made for himself after the financial crash......obvious scoffing at populist outrage by actually driving around Connecticut with this message — essentially a ‘Screw You’ to the American public.

10. clinton was able to get the rich to pay marginally more
i don't see why obama would do anything to override the default course of expiration of the cuts. if he had any interest in that he would have campaigned on it.

and the people who fight it won't be the top 10%, it will be the top 1%, MAYbe the top 5%. most of the top 10% are far more like the other 90% than the top 1%.
