I think Sarah Palin is (in the words of Betty White) "one crazy bitch". More than that, I think she's just plain ill informed and not capable of handling public office. But the base that wanted Bush is still out there festering over the fact that there is a Democrat in the white house.

That base is just freakin' stupid enough to try to put this idiot in office.

though, but the scariest part is how many people admire her, instead of looking at who she really is. Her entire family is filled with some of the greatest weirdoes on planet earth, and truth be told, I'm wondering what would REALLY happen if she became president. This nation would be a complete and total shithole if that happened, especially if the fundies managed to elect her.

This country has gone so far downhill, that I wonder what it's going to take to make things right again, and how long it would take us to get there. I have to hope that there are far more sensible people in the right-wing who, while they are repugs, are capable of seeing through her entire illusion and will shie away from ever allowing her to take public office again.
