How is it that a puny, mediocre mind like Limbaugh's can make $50 million per year? |
|
Those that think he is intelligent are less intelligent than Rush and those are the fish that he throws out the bait for. They are a pitiful and sickening lot, those "ditto heads". They all have their degrees from the Institute of Broadcast Excrement. They have their heads so far up their asses they think they are pioneers.
Limbaugh was a failure at everything until the powerful conservative groups in this country saw how effective he could be at spouting their propaganda. He does the dirty work for them as they rob the people blind, including the ditto heads themselves. He says that Obama has never done anything but talk? What has Rush done?
Rush is the dummy that sells the act. And the stupid ones eat it up with a shovel. He is a mediocre mind that has reached the pinnacle of the American dream. He has done a lot of damage to this country in the last twenty years and his followers believe themselves to be educated. They are fools and puppets to be pitied.

Rush the Product sells. Companies buy advertising on his show and Rush's lemmings buy those products or services. Everyone goes home happy.

but helping to tear down this country and build up his own bank account. He is not funny nor entertaining. He makes ditto heads feel good by talking about the "Democrat Party". When was the last time he made fun of any Republicans?? It's not like there is nothing to make fun of. He's a propaganda tool and if you can't see that, I feel sorry for you.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying i agree with him but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
My employess have him on most afternoons so I get to hear a lot of it as I walk through the different departments. Over the years it has opened my eyes to the fact that there are at least two sides to everything and things are not as black and white as I used to think.
Yes he stands behind the republican party but i guess i would expect a liberal talk show host to stand behind the democrats in the same manner.

We just have a bizarre system that sometimes elevates particular people to unparalled (financial) heights.
Talent has very little to do with it. It's just some weird thing in the zeitgeist that people glom onto. We see the same thing in the blogosphere: certain personalities, though they have no particularly better writing skills or thinking skills than thousands of others, rise to the surface and become the kool kidz with all the hits. I've stopped questioning this phenomenon: it's America. My tastes are always going to be a bit outside the mainstream. They always have been. So don't ask me to explain things.

|
He channels angry against the left and against minorities and scary foreigners.
Without celebrities like Limbaugh, the corporate overlords know they might have to face another Eugene Debs, or at least a Huey Long.
$50 million is a small price to channel that anger against the weak and helpless, instead of against those who are really responsible
