Anyone just see that CNN presentation of the "wingnuts" of the year? |
|
I think they just sprained a muscle in order to defend their de-facto motto of "fair and balanced."
That was just crazy. To their credit, they named Michelle Bachmann the "wingnut of the year." But do they even know what a "wingnut" is? Ed Schultz was the runner-up.
You would think an outfit that proclaims itself the world's authority on news would know what a "wingnut" is.
They equated Ed Schultz telling the truth about the Republican doctrine of let people die, with the Palin/Bachmann lies of "death panels."
It seems to me that they are getting a little too "fair and balanced." Have I said this before? Lies aren't deserving of "balance."
Lies are lies. And they have flooded CNN since Ted Turner ceded control of that network.

CNN has become unwatchable for me. No wonder they're losing viewers.

3. An attempt to be "fair and balanced" I suppose. |

I don't get to watch Ed because he doesn't podcast. But from what I've seen he's nothing like Bachmann (who is a freaking representative!)
Whatever.
If you ask what 2+2 is, and get back "4" and "22" for answers, the correct answer is "4", not 13.

4. Wow. That's a stretch. CNN is the unwatchable. The AM crew sits at |
|
a desk that comes to the anchors knees.. only so the viewer can see leg from the woman.. anyone notice that. Blitzer asks questions and spins questions... My 5yr old could do a better interview than he could. That's one channel I would choose not to pay for if I could pick a la carte for cable channels.

And who decided this list and how? I've got no problems naming Bachmann the winner...even though I can think of 10 without breaking a sweat.
Point is this isn't news...it's gossip. It's what makes this network unwatchable...especially when it's delivered by a bunch of bobbleheads who look like they should be working at the local hardware store.
The less cable "news" I watch these days, the better my life is. NatGeo gets a lot of my viewing time these days...
Happy New Years...

6. I have pretty much given up on all TV news |
|
catch the Weather Channel sometimes, but I am getting pretty much everything from the net now. TV is just a waste of time.

9. I think Ed Schultz was #5 on the list, and #2 was Alan Grayson. |
|
Also on the list was Sarah Palin -- at #3, if I remember correctly.
