OK Duers will Rush return to his hate fest on
Monday or will he still remain in that hospital in Hawaii.
The spin should be interesting because he is still in hospital, despite their failure to admit that he had a serious heart attack.

I'm betting he will not return to his hate fest on Monday and not for some time either - hopefully never.

4. My guess is they can play this out for another week, hyping it more each day
and THEN let Rush come back to his seat.

5. ASAP...
I suspect he'll be back on the air in some form within the month. Remember, he does his swillfest from his home. Good thing about radio is you can do it in your underwear (cover up the webcam).

If he doesn't return for the full show, I expect he'll "phone in" and let his "faithful" know he's still stealing oxygen. My bets is he's back with a vengenace in three weeks...with a lot of promotion and hoopla. His syndicator and the near bankrupt stations he's on need him to draw what few listeners they have left. Plus you know Rushbo's massive ego can't stay away...no matter how addicted he is to other substances, the biggest jones in his life is being in front of that microphone.

6. If he really had a heart attack
Edited on Fri Jan-01-10 08:35 AM by malaise
and the longer he stays in hospital, the more likely that seems, then he will be forced to recuperate. He will also be scared shitless about dying - like most chicken hawks who wish evil on others.

Happy New Year bro! :hi: :D

8. They can't do much until he undergoes some serious detox.
I wonder what his answer was when asked the standard question about what drugs he has been taking?

13. The Ego Trumps All...
Remember, he was pinched with taking Oxy like candy and doctor shopping, so we can tell what type of patient he is. His ego will push him back into the studio sooner than later as his radio jones is his true addiction.

Let's see how quickly he's released...the longer he's in Hawaii the more interesting this could get. While you'd think a near death experience may have an effect, I don't see this happening in a person so driven by his own personna...his character that is void of any human compassion. My bets are he feels the care he's getting is because of his wealth...his entitlement. I think we'd have a better chance if he were hit on the head and suffered amnesia...just like in the cartoons.

Here's wishing you and yours a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year...may the sun shine on you all year.

:hi:

22. Any idea how long the doctors will say he has to recuperate
before he can return to his job?

Stroke Effects

Stroke can affect people in different ways. It depends on the type of stroke, the area of the brain affected and the extent of the brain injury. Brain injury from a stroke can affect the senses (such as eyesight, touch, awareness of body positioning), motor activity (movement of arms or legs), speech and the ability to understand speech. It can also affect behavioral and thought patterns, memory and emotions. Paralysis or weakness (the inability to move the arms or legs properly, or at all) on one side of the body is common.

If it turns out that his return is questionable will the sponsors remain or jump ship?

17. I'd like to see him come back Monday.

If he goes back to work too soon maybe the stress will cause him to
have a bigger and better cardiovascular event. There's always hope.

18. No he won't.
If he had a minor heart attack, he would be released by now with some medication. I'm thinking this is only the beginning with some heart surgery there in the future. He's not going to be back on the air for awhile and even if he is bull headed enough to try, he will be back in the hospital shortly.

19. I caught his appearance on Leno's crap fest a few weeks ago
and he was bragging about his weight loss and how people told him his method of losing all that weight in such a short time would kill him. Hmmmmm. His biggest audience seems to be himself so it'll be interesting to see how quickly he "rebounds".

Take all the time ya need there Rush.
