Rove's family life was destroyed by same-sex marriage! |
|
Don't ask me how; I don't exactly understand that part myself, but I do know that the wingnut fundies have been telling us for years that same-sex marriage is the biggest threat there is to the American family, so I'm saddened to see that Karl and family have fallen victim.

1. No, it was opposite sex marriage that did it. |

4. Maybe they're not referring to his recent |
|
marriage?
Maybe they're talking about the fact that his stepfather who raised him (and whom Rove had thought was his biological father) left his mother and came out as a homosexual when Rove was still a teenager, and his mother (much later) committed suicide.
I'm as disgusted by Karl Rove as any of you, but he hasn't exactly had a wonderful life.

8. Rove was known to hang out at Oilcan Harry's here in Austin. |
|
Now why would a good God-fearing straight Republican hang out at a gay bar? HMM!

9. Usually I can at least follow the right wing fundie logic internally |
|
But this one makes no sense.
:banghead:
If the institution has been weakened, it is because of straight couples who live together without being married, people who have kids without being married and extramarital sex. If gay people want to undermine marriage, they should join in on that, not ask to be able to get married themselves.
