Eating 1500 calories a day?
Taking appetite suppressants, carb-blockers, and god-knows-what-else?

Personally, I wish Rush a speedy recovery. Despite the damage he's done in the past, I believe that most Americans now see through his bloviating and vitriol. I think he does the Republican party more harm than good.

I did QWLC's plan before, except for the pills. It is actually a healthy diet, but he should have started with more than 1500 calories at his size.

4. He claimed today they did a cardiac cath and found no blockages

and "no suggestion of coronary artery disease or atherosclerosis." Good for him, I guess, but a man who has lived as he has undoubtedly has some signs of atherosclerosis, so I think he's "reinterpreting" a bit what they actually told him. Whatever precipitated his chest pain, however, does not appear to be acute cardiovascular disease related.

Personal note: the first time I saw Rush was on a late-night show. I thought it was satire and part of a SCTV skit or something similar. It was hilarious! I was excited when I got to see it the second time.... and the I realized it wasn't satire, he was serious. It scared me. Now, I think he is just a satire of himself.
