I just watched the Larry King terror discussion clip on the front page http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x418757 and it's got to be one of the most disappointing things I've seen in a long time. It's as if nothing has changed, NOTHING! Just the same old shit being served up under a new regime.

We've got Obama's Homeland Security Bureaucrat blaming "intelligence stove-piping" ala Bush and the 9/11 commission. Of course just like back then, lots of lip service paid to this canard, but no meaningful reforms. We've got semi-asshole, Ron Paul, trying to inject a bit of sanity by stating the obvious: "They hate us because we're occupiers", and total asshole, Ben Stein, calling his statement of fact "anti-Semitic.":wtf:

We've got the same ancient clips of ultra-bogeyman, Osama Bin Ladin, firing weapons and training jihadists... And we've got the American people shitting themselves with fear. Nearly a decade later we're still at day one.

2. Theory of Mind

In psychology, they call this a theory of mind i.e., can I tell what other people are thinking by the way they are behaving? In the case of the media, it's more likely a theory of shit i.e., can I tell other people how to behave by throwing up any sort of shit?
