Blaming Barack Obama for eight years of George W.Bush

It is not difficult to find criticism of President Obama. It’s everywhere.
But let’s not forget that a lot of the mess Obama is dealing with right now was inherited from the previous president, George W. Bush.

These are the irrefutable facts:

When G.W.Bush took office, we had a balanced budget. When he left – we didn’t.
When G.W.Bush took office the unemployment rate was 5%. When he left – it was 8.7%
The government bailout of Wall Street that has given us trillions of dollars in debt was supported by, and signed into law by President G.W. Bush.

With a current approval rating of 51%, more Americans support Obama than did President Bush. Yet, there is not the same sense of offense for Bush that there seems to be for Obama.

Bush was initially elected under a cloud of controversy without winning the popular vote. He left office with an approval rating of just 22% - among the lowest in history. His citizenship was never questioned. He was not called a socialist, and no member of congress shouted at him during a Joint Session Address - calling him a liar, as they did with President Obama.

1. It will take decades and many persistent historians to uncover all the BFEE crimes.
I'm sure future generations will simply shake their heads when
all the details come to light; eventually, every thing is revealed.

2. Worst president ever: George W.Bush.
Not to take anything away from Andrew Johnson or Richard Nixon, but George W. Bush was Worst President Ever, and it isn't even close. He destroyed this country with his giveaways to his rich and corrupt friends and lied us into an unnecessary war. For all the criticism of President Obama, he is light years better than the corrupt and venal Bush.

7. You should support our President
While we can disagree with his minor policy flaws, we must always support President Obama.

4. No.
No blame to Obama for 8 years of GWB, except the parts he was complicit in.

Like voting to fund the war, for example.

The blame is in not moving swiftly and decisively to reverse GWB's policies.

In continuing, and even extending, some of the worst.

6. On the other hand... the credit for the good economic times during
the Clinton years was given to his two predecessors.

9. "no member of congress shouted at him [Bush] during a Joint Session Address - calling him a liar"
Instead, Congress and the MSM let Bush get away with his lies.
