Back in the day, John Kennedy was running for Congress. And the Repugs wanted to smear him, so they dug up some photo of him with this winsome lass in his lap on the beach of Miami.

It got leaked to JFK, and he made a big point of not being apologetic. Instead, he said with a smile a mile long plastered on his face - "God I remember her. She was fabulous!"

The Repugs decided their "sex scandal" campaign against him would not work. The "babe" photo was from his "before marriage" playboy days - and since Kennedy refused to act as though his sexuality was scandalous, what could they do?
