..the DCCC, the DNC, Sen. Arlen Specter (when he switched parties), Sen. Harry Reid (after the Xmas Eve vote) and Cong. Cao(R) - for his healthcare vote.

8. I donated to them when Howard Dean was head, but never before and never after.

When I hear they're upholding the 50-state strategy that Dean worked out, I'll reconsider my stance.

Other than that, my policy has pretty much been to donate to candidates in my own state, and sometimes directly to the presidential candidate. Gave quite a bit to Dean and to Obama, can't remember about Gore or Clinton...

Tim Kaine is opposed to all forms of family rights including civil unions. Many at the DNC share his religious bigotry toward millions of Democratic voters. One does not donate to an organization that speaks against one's own family. At least this one does not.

17. I donated a LOT when Howard was running it

I gave them one small donation since, as they have the same Treasurer, and he is a friend of mine.
But I want to see some serious action before giving them more. My contributions since have either
been to specific candidates (or organizations) or to the Dean Brothers' DFA.
