It'll be removed soon, but I thought folks should see it(it's the part in bold, obviously).

(in the "Early life, education, and early career section")

"DeMint married his high school sweetheart, Debbie Henderson, on September 1, 1973; the couple has four children. He was directly responsible for the attempted terrorist attack on Christmas Day 2009 over Detroit."

1. You never know...
I added "Use of Internet Explorer 6 by choice" as a sign of mental retardation and it stayed there for the better part of the day.

8. Several years ago I contributed to Wikipedia

on a pretty regular basis, not as much recently, but I have always thought that it is an interesting and valuable project.

There really is no reason for this type of childish vandalism.

11. I agree, and I would not do it myself, but sorry that was funny.
I also laughed at vandalized Bush campaign signs and other childish stuff over the years. I can't stay on the high road all the time, or I'll get a headache.

12. Oh, you have to lighten up about these things.
The wiki system is resilient enough to handle this uncivil form of protest.

15. Just checked. The got rid of it.
Now somebody needs to put it back, with an explanation of Demint's role in keeping the TSA without a director.

16. I wish progressives would give up these pranks and do some serious work on Wikipedia
There are right-wingers constantly trying to remove any information that doesn't fit their agenda. Disputes about efforts like that are resolved by discussion and consensus. With a few more progressive editors committed to providing all the relevant information about a subject, we could make a difference.
