I do not think liberals should wish that any other person should die or become incapacitated. For some odd reason, that sounds inhumane. Surely liberals would not believe that?

It would be hard to argue that many of the early union organizers were not liberals, but to further their goals they took some pretty immoral actions. It would be hard to argue that John Brown wasn't a liberal, but he was also killed innocent people to further the Abolitionist cause. I could go on and on, but it isn't necessary. Liberalism is defined by it's issues.
