Tea Party Leader Warns GOP Pols: We're 'Turning Our Guns' On You

Man. This is just classic. The Washington Times reports that “tea party leader” Dale Robertson is warning the GOP that the teabaggers are “turning their guns” on Republicans who aren’t far enough to the right.

A founder of the Tea Party movement said Wednesday he had a warning for Republican leaders: Back conservative candidates or else other states will suffer the same backlash that toppled Florida’s Republican Party chairman this week.

“We are turning our guns on anyone who doesn’t support constitutional conservative candidates,” said Dale Robertson, who operates TeaParty.org out of Houston and helped start the movement nearly two years ago.

He declined to say which states are next on the Tea Party’s hit list. He said party leaders in those states would be warned privately, but the movement’s wrath “will be very clear publicly” if they don’t listen.

“If they continue to do things like they did in Florida, it’s not going to be good for them,” Mr. Robertson said. “If they don’t get that and their party chairmen don’t get that, they are going to be ostracized.”

If the name “Dale Robertson” sounds familiar, it’s because we featured him just last Monday, for showing up at the February 2009 tea party in Houston with this sign:

17. At least we have a reason. They just love their hate fests
They are filled with victim mentality 24/7, no matter what's going on in the country and who is in power. They were still this idiotic and screaming "RINO RINO RINO" during 8 years of Bush and the entire span of 1994-2006

Sounds like it. Usually those with the biggest mouths and the most guns have FAILED to serve the United States of America. That is a right-wing and republicon tradition.

7. What is it with these idiots and their inability
to spell on protest signs? I can understand screwing up when you're typing away but if you're going to take the time to make a damned sign at least buy a fucking dictionary.

He even outlined the colors in black so it's not that he's lazy, just fucking stupid?

14. This can't be good.
Geez, I can't believe that the current Republican crop is not pure enough already.
Every time that party moves right, so does ours. Thus, the center becomes the left.

Wait a minute here... TWO years ago? Two years ago, Bush was running the show, and idiots like this asshole were just hunky-dory with what was going on in Washington.

Why would he make a "Tea Party" website / organization when the Republicans were in power? Was this pre-planned with the knowledge that the next President would be a Democrat? Or was this just a contingency plan?

More importantly, who is bankrolling this?

There is something amiss with this whole scenario.

South Park was so dead-on with the teabagger movement that it almost blurs the line between satire and truth-telling.

Edited on Wed Jan-06-10 08:23 PM by LostInAnomie
Seriously, have you ever seen a group that tries to over-compensate more than teabaggers? Every statement they make is screams "Please believe me! I'm a real man!". Think about it. have you ever heard a teabagger statement that didn't involve using guns, force, refusing to bend over and take it, etc.?

Men that are secure in their manhood don't take like that.

27. Will a media wizz pin Palin for her support of racist Fleabag.org flounder B4 Teaking for $100K?
I can't believe there's been nothing in the news :grr: especially the cable news about how Palin can go speak to these FLEAbags and not be tied directly to their blatant racist and "earless" leader that has been in the news so heavily for his :dunce: "NIGGAR" sign?

I have e-mailed several of the news shows (for a second time now) asking them to get an answer out of the whack-jobette before she gets past go and collects her $100,000...seems to me this would be a political career ender being tied to this flea(douche)bag racist but then to go accept such a large amount of cash for a speaking engagement to the :tinfoilhat: brain-deadbags seems to me too be beyond the pale(in)

Maybe if more of us rousted the cable outlets, :daily: :weekly: :tv: :radio: :web: enough of a stink can be made so she'll at least have to back out of the appearance costing her a hundred grand - eh?

Get to it folks, e-mails and hit the blogs chop-chop :applause: ... :nuke: this twitette off the political scene into laughable irrelevancy, beyond what she already is of course :P

Be un-governed accordingly ...

`AC ~ DC"
