There Will Be NO 2010 Election.
Oh, we'll go through the motions, to be sure - just like we did in 2004.

But it won't be an actual election - it will be another 'Selection' in 2010.

The corporations running our country see the growing dissatisfaction out there - and they cannot chance actual Democrats getting elected to Congress - good honest people driven to run for office, who are dedicated to the Constitution and American ideals, cannot be trusted to give the corporations what they demand. Honest Democrats might actually make progress reigning corporations in.

This cannot be tolerated.

So ready yourself for another Selection.

Plenty of touch screen voting machines out there, and plenty of people willing to run voting counts crookedly.

And a group of rabid, fanatical Republicans will be much easier to control than a group of honest citizens intent on setting our Democracy right. Republicans are highly reactionary - corporations need only feed this, to keep themselves happily in control of our government.

And there are plenty of rabid Republicans chomping at the bit to hold office. All that power, all that spectacle, all of those young Congressional pages...

Already the media is hyping Republican chances in 2010. They are softening up the public for another Selection, despite poll numbers showing the exact opposite of a Republican resurgence.

I think I just stepped into a 2002-2004 time warp
Voting machine conspiracy theories are BAAAAAACK.

Most Secretaries of State are Democrats now, BTW.

4. I stated something similar in the run-up to the 2004 Selection - and got the exact same responses.
I guess we are in a time-warp. Heads still buried in sand...

5. You still think
state and national level dems are on our side?
Think again.

7. They are clueless
Except the Calif SoS. She pretty much trashed the damn things but the republicans have recycled the machines back into service.

Judges won't let anyone look at the private code.

Your lack of understanding about the machines makes you look quite ignorant, sorry to say.

9. And they will keep coming back as long as we keep using those fucking machines.
We need to go back to hand counted paper ballots - if ballot box stuffing was good enough for our grandparents, it should be good enough for us.

1. Um... yeeahhhhhhh.
So, uh, why'd the cylon voting machines sit out 2008? Were they recharging their robot batteries?

2. While this made me LOL, I do believe we still have a vulnerability in the voting system
It only takes one corrupt Governorship to impact elections to the U.S. government. And e-voting has been proven to be easily tampered with.

8. They didn't sit out
They stole an estimated 7 million votes from Obama.

What? You think that many people wanted republicans back in office?

10. Who says they did?
You really think a senile retro-repub with a moron as a running mate walking in the footsteps of the worst presidency in a hundred years REALLY came within 6 points of the brightest, most charismatic Democratic candidate since JFK who had the backing of the strongest, most vibrant grassroots campaign that any of us can remember?

There were dozens of 'problems' reported, and 90% of them favored the republicans - how many more never got reported, never got caught? When the biased MSM predicts a repub to win by 3pts (despite any evidence on the ground) and that repub does win by 3 pts, who is going to ask questions?

We should have had two more senators, and a dozen or so more congressmen but for some 'unexpected' results, just as we should have with our 'win' in '06. Obama had HUGE coattails that carried a lot fewer down-ticket races than he should have. Why is that?

6. And some of the same dupes as before will of course remain willfully ignorant again
For them it's better than admitting that their worldview perception is deeply askew.

11. That would almost cheer me up--it shows they really care!
I don't believe it--except for the usual local scalawags, I doubt
anyone has the energy or passion to steal this off-year election.
We don't really have a war in the balance for them to leverage,
like in 06 since everybody's signed on now...

Nevertheless, scalawags will be scalawags.

12. I thought this was obvious. Any time a Republican wins an election it is because of voter fraud
Especially when Democrats control the White House, Congres, a majority of governorships, ect.

How could anyone ever disagree with me? I'm 99.9976% sure about this.
