Just heard one of Obama's campaign promises
on the Daily Show, "I will eliminate taxes on seniors making less than $50000 a year." What ever became of that one?

1. We should ask him. Or, better yet, get Olberman, Rachel or Ed to ask him. nt

8. I'd like to see that but it may go the way of no tax increases on those who make under $200,000/year
That was then, this is now when he fights to keep a middle class tax increase in the HCR bill. At least Pelosi seems, finally, to be fed up with covering for him.

2. What about the one repeated often ..
the health care debate would be on CSPAN?

I don't think any of them intend to do a thing they say during campaigns.
Color - cynical.

3. His four years are up already?
Gosh, that went fast.

Oh yeah, and that other one: in the fall of 2008, less than 2 months before the general election, we became aware for the first time that the economy had gone down the freaking crapper. That tends to alter some plans.

4. I was thinking that he has 3 more years to do it also. The fact that Congress is involved
never seems to matter to people either.

I guess I missed the "everything will be done 1 year" promise.

As usual, we don't need Republicans because we prefer to kneecap our own.

6. You will still have excuses 3 years from now, I first said
7 years from now but it appears more and more every day he is a one term President.
