True.
But I'm glad of this.
Soon, more will be glad about a lot of things, till then, let them tear the man to shreds.... why should we mess with their party...? they feel so much more powerful than when Bush was in office, so if this helps them, to piss on our Democratic President day in, day out, it may be a small price to pay.

I mean you expect that controversial issues to get the most attention and discussion. But differences between the two is wildly out proportion.

9. True - SOMETIMES. Other times bad news trumps -if gulag's are being built, extra$ for parks not big |

It's not that dollars for parks are bad, it's that gulags are a negative evil of a higher order, it just trumps.
One can reject the premise about gulags, but it doesn't have to be quite that extreme for the principle to apply: Example:
There's lots of good reasons for a wife to STAY with Tiger Woods, why focus on the "negative" of infidelity, It's "sad the level to which good news is just ignored" like Tiger's skills, a billion or so good reasons to stay, children, and on and on. But for most people, those "positives" don't matter much anymore as reasons to stay together after the fidelity Rubicon has been crossed. That line is drawn at different places for different people, however...
Basically, many people are saying that they've been "cheated on" by the POTUS. Many others may not feel that way, but that's them applying THEIR standards for "fidelity" if you will, but everyone has the right to their own individual standard for political "fidelity."
I'm not saying "ignore the positive," but if the "positive" is allowed to erase the memory of the really bad, then one will stay in really bad abusive relationships forever -- because the abuser sends flowers, etc.
So. What's more sad: An unhealthy focus on the positive or an unhealthy focus on the negative? Answer: It depends on whether or not you've Crossed the Rubicon so to speak.
