5. I know all you yankees think it's funny, but 20 degrees here in Atlanta
is BAD! I grew up in Pgh, Pa. and I whought it was funny when I liveed there too. After living in the shouth for 23 years, it's not very funny anymore! I'm shivering every day!

11. This is one of the longest spells of cold weather
that I can remember here on the Gulf Coast. Many of us are just not set up for this type of weather -- my heater is set on 68, but the temperature is stuck at 59. They had to search high and low for places to put all the homeless people because the usual shelters were crammed full. I'm not going to complain too much, though, because in a few more months we'll be baking again and I hate that even more.
