1. I heard rumors at my financial company that more layoffs are coming in February
and my contract ends the ned of next month, so not sure what jobs are being added.

I hope things go well and you contract is renewed.

As for the article, I think there's confusion over "the financial sector"...

There's a big difference between the big wall street firms and the "regular banks"... Then you have insurance companies, credit unions, etc etc etc.

They are neither all equally culpable for our problems nor are they all suffering the same fate.
