1. They Googled her. That's how they picked her. LOL
What a riot. Did McSame not know any intelligent wingnut women? They knew they wanted a woman, so they used google.

4. read it for yourself

Among their revelations is how McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, spotted Sarah Palin while searching the Internet for possible female vice presidential candidates.

7. Not kidding.
Nobody went up there to check her out. They were so sure that it would be Traiter Joe that they didn't bother to look for anyone else until the last minute. When they found out that the nuts would go nuts over Lieberman, they used Google to find a replacement.

Oh and Sarah was real calm when they picked her because she said that this was what God wanted.

10. They almost had to
The list of people who were going to make McCain acceptable to the talibornagain crowd is very, very short. What are there, maybe three people? Palin, Michelle Bachmann and Catkiller Frist. Of the three, Palin had almost no name recognition, and she's cute.

But I mean, what were they going to do? The Republican standardbearer in 2008 is married to the third-biggest beer peddler in the United States. Drastic measures were needed.

8. Good heavens...
How little they think of the most powerful position on the earth, currently to allow Palin that close... Not that we didn't all expect that, but they are admitting it!

17. Hey! What are you talking about?
How little they think of the most powerful position on earth? They put Raygun Ronnie in that office, knowing he was suffering from Alzheimer's.

5. Background check after they picked her: one lawyer searching the Internet.
She was calm when they asked her if becoming a very famous person in a few days would be hard.

"It is God's Plan", she said.

13. Anyone Watch The Showtime Show, "Californication"
Schmidt looks just like Runkel on that show:

Evan Handler (Runkle):

He was also in Sex and the City as Charlotte's husband.

that this info is finally being talked about in the mainstream media, on a reputable network news show like 60 Minutes. We've been trying to get the word out for 16 months now, ever since that fateful date, August 29, 2008, but no one in the media wanted to discuss her shortcomings except for people like Rachel and KO. Palin stories have generally been treated as gossip or fodder for comedians rather than the very serious matters that they are.

Schmidt not only revealed a lot about Palin, but he also revealed a lot about the cravenness of the Republican party. Hopefully, some people got their eyes opened tonight.

23. Let's hope so...
It is frightening to come across an intelligent, well-educated, sane (if somewhat politically unaware) person who just "loves" Palin.... Enough to send me over the edge.
