Jeb Bush is Back

The Sarasota Herald Tribune notes that even though former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) "retreated from the public spotlight when he left office in 2006, becoming almost reclusive" he has now "reasserted his influence and is helping remake the state's political landscape more to his liking."

"In the process, Bush has dimmed the star of Gov. Charlie Crist, whose Senate candidacy no longer seems a sure thing and whose control of the state GOP has grown weaker by the day."

1. As long as Jeb is focussed inward on Florida
I feel sorry for Floridians, though.

3. The Bush Crime Family will never give up Florida
Certainly not as long as anybody named Castro is alive in Cuba. And even then, as long as the CIA still imports various "vegetable extracts" from South America, Jeb still needs to hold a great deal of power down there.

6. Really?
Is the BFEE really so anti-Castro, that it goes beyond all common sense? Even after all these years?

8. Prescott Bush was making a lot of money from Cuban sugar under the Batista regime
and lost it when Fidel nationalized the sugar industry.

So in other words, it's personal. Which is how the Cuban communists are somehow worse than the Chinese communists, who cut the Bush Crime Family in on the profits.

If a Bush ever wants to run for office again, George W. Bush must appear with you whenever and wherever you campaign.

The accusation comes as the Justice Department amends a suit against a Florida man who sold water pumps to Nigeria.

Jeb Bush's former business partner, prominent Republican contributor J. David Eller, twice flew suitcases of cash to offshore tax havens to hide his assets, the U.S. Justice Department contends in a lawsuit.
