I miss MLK Jr.
I miss the man of truth. If they hadn't killed him,
I think we would live in a markedly better country, and world today.

just thinking..'

3. yep
and I don't believe he would for one moment accept the "war on terror", and would be sure to point out superior approaches.

5. Sure! King would have been talking about primarying Obama in 2012 less than a year in office!

and he wouldn't have understood that Obama didn't get us into that war,
nor would he have heard Obama saying what he would do in Afghanistan
throughout the campaign, cause he would have had his fingers in his hears
singing La-la-la....mistakenly thinking that he had voted for a tall tan Kucinich.
Plus he would have protesting when Obama got his Nobel peace prize.
and disrespecting him at every turn!
more likely, dream on.

One thing Dr. King was, among many things, was a practical and patient man.

6. Dr. King was a pacifist at all times and opposed all wars.
I'm sure that MLK would have "heard" about Obama's escalation of another lost war aimed at a CYA effort to protect his "tough" creds...just like that other Democratic president whose war MLK protested.

Yeah, Martin was "practical and patient". That's why he spent all that time in jail biding his time 'til the right moment, and waiting happily while the politicians tried to block integration and kept funding that other war. Yep. He kept his mouth shut and trusted LBJ and Nixon.

Didn't he?
