12. You can't compete with that!
That's why making that claim should be illegal. You make a very good point.

2. Alas fundamentalist thinking is NOT limited to religion
granted it helps, but any new revolution has its own brand of that too.

5. So we should be like China? How about we each work on people we meet 1 on 1 & show them how their
extremism is unhealthy. There's really not much you can do regarding 'religion'. I certainly don't like saying or hearing that I'm 'religious', for believing in a higher power that made everything. It's a belief, not a religion. I believe the people that cause the problems are cult followers who like to subject their power over others - they're nothing more than bigots with a church affiliation to hide behind, and we need to continue telling them that when they stick their nose into politics trying to take away rights or prevent them.

I share your disgust.

8. im actually disgusted at the people who are just as much fundamentalists in their hatred of religion
im religious and i dont care what you believe, but you believe that i should not be allowed to believe what i do, so really you are the fundamentalist and probuably a bigger problem than the people you so want to control...

9. you certainly don't mean to respond to me. I don't like when I'm persecuted on hear for being
a Christian. I got attacked enough from people who claim they're Christians, but when they find out I'm attracted to the same sex, they suddenly say I'm going against God, as if I purposely am controlling my attraction. Bah!
