Poll question: Over/under on Palin's Faux career.
I'm setting my over/under for SP at two months. What say you all?

1. Until she gets too mouthy even for the Fox drones.
She has a way of grating on people.

3. I'm giving her a year. Fox doesn't care what they spew as long as it whips up
the masses and gets coverage, advertising dollars. She's good at that. I think she'll tire of it after a year.

9. She'll have trouble staying inside the lines.

She's an egomaniac that can't stand taking orders from anyone, Faux included.

15. You may be right, but I think Fox's lines are very elastic, especially if she
becomes a money maker. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

2. I give her a year. By 2011 the field will be starting to heat up for POTUS
and if she doesn't make the break to campaign, she'll be off the air.

4. 3 months.
She'll get bored with it. Besides she's really not that bright and even for Faux you have to at least appear to know something. Even if it's wrong.

5. She signed a mult-year contract, but
you know she'll quit when the work becomes too demanding and/or starts cutting into her future money-earning capacity.

6. year and a half
Edited on Tue Jan-12-10 07:34 PM by zbdent
and then she'll have to give up her "spotlight" (actually, her political soapbox, set up perfectly so that she just barely escapes the campaign-finance laws) to focus on her run for President ...

on edit ...

then again ... how long is her contract with Faux? Take half of that ...

She's not going to quit ... she'll secede from the position ...

16. I'm shocked she is STILL being discussed
If I had made an over/under bet in November, I would have lost badly.

Frankly, I have no idea when idiots will stop paying attention ton her.

hopefully soon

19. It's the fancy pageant walkin'
Teabaggers are all about Sarah'cuda struttin' her stuff in a sharp-lookin' suit. That's all she's got. That, and a lot of verbal faux pas and winking into the camera.

18. Working and actually following through gives her a rash
She is the definition of quitter. After hearing from those authors of Game Change that she didn't know anything about North/South Korea or what happened, that they had to basically give her the equivalent of a high school survery course to even inform the idiot of things like WWI and WWII and the reasons why they happened, etc, I realize this dope is really unteachable and hopelessly ignorant.

I can't see how Faux is going to get her ready for any kind of show - she is very resistant to be given directions - this was true even when people attempted to prep her for debates in Alaska. She has no interest in this sort of thing. Being either a weathergirl or a sportscaster for a brief blip in the distant past isn't the same as being the center of attention on a political show. So I voted for won't even make it to air; however, I would look forward to seeing the ditz on air if they do manage to get her to show up for her tapings and be coherent enough for a piece or two to be aired.
