Thief nets $1 million from singer's vehicle

Associated Press - January 12, 2010 2:24 PM ET

ATLANTA, Ga. (AP) - Police are looking for a suspect they say stole a cool million dollar's worth of jewelry, clothing and other belongings from R&B singer Usher's vehicle while he shopped at a suburban Atlanta electronics store last month.

According to an Atlanta Police Department report, the Atlanta-bred singer - whose real name is Usher Raymond IV - was returning from the airport on Dec. 14 when he and a companion stopped at an AT&T Store in the Buckhead neighborhood.

Police say an unidentifed man pried open the driver's side door of Raymond's SUV and stole several items including $1,065,700 worth of laptops, cameras and garment bags. A witness tells police the suspect escaped in a burgundy Chevrolet Impala.

Ok, so just who the hell carries over 1 million dollars worth of crap with them when they go on vacation? The guy who stole the stuff probably traded for $100 worth of crack..
