Youth Indoctrination: Young Americans take the Pledge

Young Americans Are Taking The Pledge; What's Your Pledge?

http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/2010/01/young-americans-are-taking-pledge-whats.html

oung Americans are taking the pledge. Remember that young is a state of mind, not age. Here are a few of my favorites ...

"I pledge to never tax you for my personal ambitions"

"I pledge to remember that wanting to keep your own money isn't greed and spending other people's money isn't compassion"

"I pledged to question authority"

"I pledge to speak out"

"I pledge to read LewRockwell.Com every day."

"To read more Murray Rothbard"

"To learn about fractional reserve banking"

Funny, I remember conservatives freaking out over the President encouraging kids to stay in school but they have no problem endorsing and encouraging brainwashing kids with their political agenda.

I'm sure Mish has no problem telling kids to attack unions as he does almost every other day. Hypocrite. Think FOX news will find this troublesome?

1. Who's the idiot who unrec'd this thread?
Edited on Tue Jan-12-10 10:12 PM by Bucky
Please people, remember: unrec doesn't mean you like, it means you don't want people to pay attention to it. :banghead:

Thank you, abelenkpe. People should pay more attention to this hypocrisy.

4. OK
No one thinks it's creepy that the video contains kids saying they want to take away public money for scientific research?

Or any of the other equally creepy things in the video?

9. I pledge not to buy US treasuries...WTF?
All the talk of revolution, of smaller government, of refusing to serve, etc sandwiched in between reasonable sounding statements like withdrawing from iraq and more transparency in the financial system. I'd love more transparency and to withdraw from Iraq but not if it means adopting the worship of Ayn Rand, destroying unions, privatizing most aspects of government, public schools, prison system, etc. This stuff is a dangerous disease, don'tcha think? Am I the only one concerned about libertarians and their fascist views? Didn't Ron Paul say he never knew a woman who 'needed' an abortion on his site when he was running for president? Does that not frighten anyone? Wasn't he associated with white supremacists and a newsletter filled with racist comments? Why is he never called out on this? Why do so many brag about writing him in on their ballot?

I love the kid who says he promises to become part of the political process...why when he wants to dismantle the political process?

These people scare me.
