It's interesting: I recently read Taylor Branch's book, "The Clinton Tapes." It has a good bit of information on how hard it was for President Clinton to get the federal government interested and willing to help the people of Haiti. For that part alone, the book is outstanding.

7. Anyone know how many people are actively reading/posting on DU in the wee hours

of the morning in Ameria as compared to mid-day and the evening?

I'm just wondering if a period of low-traffic is more to blame than interest.
