I have seen some pictures... truly awful, reminds me of Mexico city in the 80's, except, they had the ability to cope...

What's amusing is to hear the CNN lady asking if there is food or water but watching video showing a few vendors selling sugar cane which provides both food and water. I guess she'll ask that when she sees coconuts as well.
