2. Good for him...
And shame on the people like Rush Limbaugh who are actually criticizing him for speaking about this more quickly than he spoke about the underwear bomber. Hundreds of thousands of lives are on the line here and it is disgusting to see Limbaugh and Fox News try to score points by suggesting that this is a comparable situation to a single guy blowing up his crotch.

3. Imagine if we'd had the same response to Katrina, especially in New Orleans.
Just imagine how different things would be. It's almost heartbreaking.

4. My google for "Haitian death toll"
I say multiple sources, mostly city papers, not too much MSM, that suggest the death toll could reach HALF A MILLION!

Consider the order of magnitude between this disaster and America's worst attack on the mainland since Pearl Harbor and our 2,900 to 3,100 lost souls.

For Rush to have spoken that criticism in public, give the terrible loss of human life, is, well, what Rush does and why his audience is so large.

500,000 is approximately the number of Americans lost in all of WW2.

I didn't realize the magnitude until I looked up the numbers for this post. America should consider pulling out of it's multiple wars and divert those resources to get these poor people a better country than the one they had. Including a government that doesn't force so many to live in such misery.
