Has Shit-for-Brains made a public statement regarding Haiti yet?

Or is he even sober enough to appear in public?

I just wonder how he will put his foot in his mouth now that he doesn't have a large
staff of people who were paid to prepare "sincere and meaningful" statements for him.
We'd have a trifecta with Limbaugh, Robertson and Boosh.

1. I'm waiting for Cheeney to say we are less safe because
of the resources we are diverting. After all, he didn't divert ANYTHING for Katrina.

without dragging the torture president into the discussion.

5. Ok, it pains me to say this, but...
Dubya has been a better ex-prez than some others. He seems to refrain from making too many comments about current events.

Let's wait and see what the actual Ex-Prez Cheenaay has to say.

18. Because.......
no one gives a rat's ass what he has to say about anything these days. I've never seen a recent ex-President so completely ignored like Bush has been. Not that I'm complaining. He never had anything constructive to say when he WAS President. I think the general consensus in the media about Bush is, 'who cares what he has to say about anything'? And they'd be correct about that.

6. I couldn't care less.
The less I see and hear of him, the better. The next time he appears in public, I want it to be in an orange jumpsuit -- along with his war criminal buddies Cheney and Rumsfeld.

As he has for previous "natural disasters". We don't need the Chimp too. :puke:

17. I thought Bush had a halfway decent record in dealing with international poverty
The response in Pakistan & Indonesia were flawed, but they weren't bad. And the US program to provide HIV, malaria & TB medications in Africa was extremely popular there.

So if Bush can serve a useful function in this issue, then by all means go for it.

Bush/Clinton have formed a "strange bedfellows" partnership to assist in such things.

28. For now, I'm happy enough to let him slide into quiet obscurity amid the North Dallas country club
set. With some work over the next ten or fifteen years, we'll be able to document the crimes of his era and might eventually bring some of the worst perps to justice: it won't happen overnight. And (frankly) just calling him names won't do much except produce sympathy for him -- a certain dispassion in pursuing the true history and making it widely known will work much better magic
