Caller to LIMBOsevic, "Where in your right mind do you get off ..." (re: what he said about Haiti)
Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 02:50 PM by UTUSN
He, of course, attempted to sidetrack her because she first said he was "discouraging charitable donations to a catastrophe affecting 100,000 people." He interrupted her and asked where she heard he had "discouraged" donations. She said it was in the Huffington Post but that she wasn't calling about that and said she wants to finish her sentence.

"Why did you decide to say something brilliant about a tragedy affecting 100,000 people..."

He said he had "tweaked the media" and predicted that before everything was over he would be accused of having used the "light skinned Negro" phrase instead of REID.

She said she wan't calling about REID, that she was talking about HIM.

(He's holding her over, over the break)...

(After the break): "You are making a complete inane faceless point of politicizing a tragedy, and most of the time I'm absolutely DISGUSTED with you."

He: "Have you ever heard any Democrat politicizing a national disaster? OBAMA did that when he was senator, politicizing Katrina. You're not outraged about CLINTON's remark about OBAMA. You're a BLOCKHEAD, a closed minded BIGOT. I'm hitting you with (brilliance). You get it from HuffPo, Media Matters... To accuse me of politicizing things is to be IGNORANT. Instead you're BLOCKHEAD(sic). And so I've had enjoyment showing you (up). I grew up near Paduka, and if I'd have known you were there, I would have stayed there. I appreciate your holding... 2. Long after that caller was gone, one of his dittoheads said she is sick and tired
of "all the money we've thrown at Haiti and other places" and that she wishes people would "just stand on their own two feet."

He said, "It's not going to happen. Look, we went to Somalia just because of one picture in the NYT of a starving child."

3. No one politicized Katrina, except the Republicans blaming Lousiana. I'm sick of that talking point.
Most people were behind Bush and the government during Katrina. On that day, I wanted Bush to be the best president in our nation's history.

But Bush failed, and was held accountable for it by the people. That's not politicizing it. Politicizing it was what they did when they tried to blame Nagin and Blanco for their own failings.

4. Now he checked his e-mail and says the complaints are about (not Haiti) his succor of Zicam
Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 03:17 PM by UTUSN
He says his e-mailers claim he is speaking for something banned by the FDA (not Haiti), that Zicam in the whole was not banned, only one delivery method was, the GELL TABS (not Haiti).

Then, after attempting to change the real subject, he was back to justifying himself (about Haiti), playing a clip from Tony BLANKLEY saying that REID's comment about "light skinned Negro" had been inconsequential but that when LIMBOsevic or another wingnut says something "equally inconsequential" the dastardly Liberal Media attack in full force and that what THIS is about is attempting "to silence a (wingnut)."

6. The caller made a tactical error - the use of the words "right mind".
That doesn't apply to the OxyMoron.
