NBC announces its new 10 PM lineup
from the Detroit News:

Los Angeles-- Eager to repair the damage "The Jay Leno Show" did to their primetime lineup, NBC executives rolled out a new schedule full of "Law & Order" episodes and other dramas at 10 p.m.

The Peacock network announced Thursday that the freshman drama "Parenthood," and mainstays "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will fill three timeslots. "Law & Order" will air Mondays, beginning March 1, and "Parenthood" will air on Tuesdays, beginning March 2. Meanwhile, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will air at 9 and 10 p.m. Wednesdays, starting March 3. On Thursdays, NBC will rely on Jerry Seinfeld's new comedy panel series, "The Marriage Ref," which will debut March 4.

"Dateline NBC" will fill Friday's 10 p.m. vacancy and fans of "Friday Night Lights" will be happy to know that the football drama is coming back to NBC at 8 p.m. April 30.

Before it returns, however, NBC will fill that spot with a new Lisa Kudrow ("Friends") reality offering that traces the genealogical histories of celebrities.

"Must See TV" every one.....

1. I thought it was a baby picking YouTube clips,
a monkey picking YouTube clips, and a rock with an applause soundtrack.

2. Idiots. They should try out some of the better cable dramas...
If I were running programming, I'd bring back Southland, do a deal to put Burn Notice in one of the 10PM slots, and do a one-time, two-episodes-a-week, beginning-to-end run of two of the all-time best cable series: the hilarious "Monk" (Tony Shahloub is a comic acting genius), and SyFy's dark, brilliant, and acclaimed "Battlestar Galactica." No reality show crap. That's so last decade.

5. If you notice NBC
has wonderful shows on cable. Original shows. Why don't they put some of them on the network. I just don't understand how cable can get these good shows and the network can't.

Look at "The Closer" the one with the female US Marshall that takes care of witness protection. Holly Hunter's show. Of course Monk is finished. But Scifi has some good ones and aren't the NBC owned. Look at Sanctuary and Warehouse 13. Network shows are mostly kiddish.

3. Friday Night Lights is a terrific show
Although anything will be better than what Leno was doing.

4. You know, many Americans are sleep deprived. NBC needs to be
lauded for public service by encouraging earlier bed times.
