Poll shocker: Scott Brown surges ahead in Senate race
http://www.bostonherald.com/news/politics/view.bg?articleid=1225720

Riding a wave of opposition to Democratic health-care reform, GOP upstart Scott Brown is leading in the U.S. Senate race, raising the odds of a historic upset that would reverberate all the way to the White House, a new poll shows.

Although Brown’s 4-point lead over Democrat Martha Coakley is within the Suffolk University/7News survey’s margin of error, the underdog’s position at the top of the results stunned even pollster David Paleologos.

11. I realize there are issues with this poll, but neither Nate Silver nor
Stu Rothenberg have discounted it.... I say if it gets our people to call, donate, and get others out the vote, why fight it?

12. It got them at the rally today.
People are FIRED UP! I got home tonight and had a message from President Obama ordering me to get out and vote and take 10 people with me. I'm scared not to.

9. No shock and NOT A SURGE. It's a TIE.
Any results within the margin of error means it's a tie. It just as likely could have gone the other way.

17. It's not a shocker; it's the health insurance bill. And 4% is within the margin of error
They're about even right now. Coakley needs to take a stand AGAINST the insurance bill.
