US-French Rescue teams' first mission: embassy Hotel, bldgs w/ Foreign Nationals trapped inside

Warning, this is a Fox news clip so take with a grain of salt but the fact
that Fox has no question about this strategy is telling.

http://media2.foxnews.com/011510/hemmerrescue_700.wmv

15 hour rescue by a 12-man crew, helicopter arrives, US Man medevacked out to USS Carl Vinson,
recieves medical treatment including amputated legs there.

After Journalists (or at least this Fox news guy) pressured them to check
out the people trapped in this hotel, being that they were Americans no doubt,
the rescue crews "on the tarmac" said that after they cleared the airport,
this Hotel would be the FIRST building they would clear and rescue... due to
the "significance" of "every prominent foreign national stays here."
Apparently that means something to Fox, and to the rescuers. Eight Americans
and one Haitian were rescued.

Also on the list for helicopter and rescue teams: The UN HQ (understandable)

But not much else as of yet. Foreign Nationals first priority as always, it seems.

A British team with dogs arrived at the site of the 80-yr-old (Haitian) Vicar of Haiti's Cathedral,
who had PHONED OUT from under the rubble, "failed to find signs of life", and abandoned the search,
going elsewhere, leaving a Mexican Crew to continue helping local Catholic parishioners dig him out
with rock hammers.
