Walgreens taking donations for Haiti

Don't know if this is happening at all Walgreens stores, but I just stopped in the one by my house, and they have a scan code there for $1, $5 & $10 donations to the Red Cross. The clerk scanned the code and it was added to my bill.

1. My local Publix was doing it today as well.

No signage or anything, must have just kicked it off. The checkout clerk asked me directly if I wished to donate.

I worked there for 8 years before joining the military - great company to work for. I wish we had them in Virginia.

4. BC Liquor was doing it in 200 stores across the province

My little town put in over a grand today
