If he equivocates, his campaign in Massachusetts is doomed. Even saying he doesn't know paints him as a nutball Birther immediately, especially when the above footage goes with the reporting on it.

If he answers an outright yes, he loses many of the Teabaggers to Joseph Kennedy (Tea Party).
