So was Haiti too much for Brian Williams
I haven't seen him for over 24 hours and I see Lester Holt all over the place. Did that chicken hawk run home for cover?

1. Hubby commented he looked like he was having a heart attack
Night before last he was next to Gupta and hubby said he looked like he was having trouble breathing. Haven't thought about him since. Dunno?

2. Not since I saw him on Rachel Maddow's Show
He was talking about how awful it was that they were letting bodies just lie out there in the streets. I was thinking that maybe the people of Haiti were trying to care for the injured and looking for survivors. You know, priorities....

I hope whoever is there and coming back gets a TB test upon coming home given the really high rate of TB over there.

5. Actually, it makes sense that NBC would send Lester Holt down there for the weekend.
He's their normal weekend anchor. Brian Williams doesn't work weekends. And I imagine even he needs the occasional break.

6. Lester has always been the work horse, what they called BLITZER, "iron pants"
During 9-11, Lester was on ALL the time. I swear I think they ran him through a car wash every few hours and shoved him out there.
