A local spring manufacturer (CT) yesterday posted the folloine advertisement:

XXX is now accepting applications for f/t 1st and 2nd shift. Training provided, no exp necessary. We offer full bene pkg incl med, dent,STD & 401(k). Apply to: XXX

A second enterprise is advertising for an experience person for the second shift, requiring overtime.

Haven't seen ads like this in the local paper for some time.
