Any luck calling for Coakley today?

I am getting phones disconnected or answering machines turned on. No human beings.

4. Not unusual. I phoned for Ned Lamont and the frustrating part of it was

all of the answering machines/disconnected phones I got. People use answering machines to screen calls, decide whether or not to delete the messages that are left.

Too bad they don't have cell phones. My hunch is that people answer their cell phones if possible. Land lines, not so much any more...I know my husband and I don't...

I called about 10 people yesterday and I was able to talk to 2, left messages for the rest.
