So I was right - hahahahahha
Brian Williams fled from Haiti. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah - fugging chickenhawk - bet the smell of death was too much for that wannabee preppie. He's telling us to watch Lester Holt's report later - bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah hahahahahahaha - look at him on the cargo plane escaping on Saturday morning - the media were offered places.

1. The network may have told him to leave
We don't know. What we do know is that security is a valid concern. NBC may not be willing to expend the resources to keep him there.

It'll be interesting to see how he spins this.

Anderson Cooper is still there. I guess I know whom I'll be watching.

26. I was hoping Lester would get Brian's job when they were picking
a new anchor. He's one of the best on any channel, not just NBC.

27. Believe me, I'm not defending him
I also wonder where NBC would put an anchor in the middle of such devastation. Let's face it, there's no Westin/Ritz Carlson/boutique hotel there, and he has to have SOMEWHERE to store his wardrobe. ;-)

I was wondering to myself if it was a liability situation. Of course, if Lester Holt is still there, that just makes Williams look even worse.

3. Having Brian Williams hurt due to violence would be a PR disaster for Haiti.
It's good if they prevent this from happening.

Of course not - I love being in the rubble among the dead, injured and hungry. Booof - one slap to the face of the idiot journalist.

16. NBC have no excuse here
They set out with a massive group - all of them left but Lester Holt arrived and has been seen everywhere since then. You see Lester's parents are Jamaican and he comes home to visit the family's old neighborhood in a not great neighborhood. He is not a fugging coward who needs everything to be smelling pretty.
Brian Williams is a fugging coward. He ran from Haiti and I'm lovin' it..

22. I am glad they left someone, and glad they aren't tying up resources.
They need some reporters there and mostly rescue/relief people. I'd rather those who are unable to deal with it leave and leave more resources for others.

It is a more polite way...

They MUST be getting on the way with their own security needs.

19. Having seen a few of these, somebody told him you are on the next flight
out.

He is just spinning it.

:-)

I kicked a reporter out of a scene, a local primadona... with well cops escorting him out.

It was spun to we chose to leave.

Given CNN is still there... and AC is still there... this is my readying the tea leaves.

I'd rather have someone there who is able to report objectively.
