If MSNBC insists on saddling Dylan Ratigan with that idiot Todd..
he is going to lose the slot to Rick Sanchez, who's been doing some of the best work CNN has seen in ages...

3. He's a tiresome drone, isn't he.
Nothing but conventional "beltway wisdom" has ever come out of his pie hole. He's the Village's villager.

4. I don't particularily care for Dylan to begin with......
He talks too fast, makes his opinions sound like facts, and comes from CNBC, the Wall street network.

The Corporate media is not our friend, and neither is Dylan Ratigan, even if he appears to the untrained eye as being good at it.

10. He is the only broadcaster exposing Wall Street.
I follow him to understand the more complicated aspects of how the big boys operate. I understand concepts and products fine but it is when Ratigan talks about how they are being used contrary to their stated purpose that my antenna really light up.

He may be talking above the head of the average viewer though.

11. His two-hour show was good
That gave plenty of time to do some in-depth stuff.. the one hour format, especially when populated with "other hosts-of-their-own-shows" will fail.

Financial & legislative stuff requires time to flesh it all out. A one hour show with loads of "guests", only ensures that all issues will just get a glossy paintjob and nothing of substance will come out of any of it.:(

5. a possible benefit
Would be enjoying the antipathy that would be present with the combination of these two on their own show.

Dylan will mop Chuckie all over the floor with his rationality and knowledge.

6. I don't care if Chuck Todd is there or not. Dylan is the man.
His is the only show I regret missing.

7. Todd's new show is called The Daily Rundown. Isn't that the most....
depressing name for a show? They might as well have called it The Sinking Ship or the Dying Swan.

12. He has an actual SHOW?
Jeez, he's on everybody else's show all the time anyway, giving his "expert commentary". He's not co-hosting a thing with Ratigan, is he? Please tell me 'no'.

16. Savannah Guthrie is his co-host. Geritol would be the perfect...
sponsor for a show call Daily Rundown.

18. Is this in addition to his role as whatever his title is? I'd almost prefer
him being limited to a show I could ignore than have him popping up all over the place as he usually does.

I wonder why they did that?

Great line about Geritol, btw!
