From MoveOn: Tell credit card companies to stop exploiting Haiti for personal gain.
Dear friend,

Thank you. Your name has been added to the petition and your comments will be delivered to the CEOs of Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Another great way to help is to spread the word to your friends and family so they know what's going on. You can just forward the sample letter below.

Spreading the word is critical, but please only pass this message along to those who know you -- spam hurts our campaign.

Thanks for all you do.

Here's a sample message to send to your friends:

Subject: Another thing you can do to help in Haiti

Hi,

Haiti has been devastated by a massive earthquake. Americans are opening their hearts and their wallets to help. But credit card companies see this as an opportunity to turn a profit.

They take a cut every time Americans use their credit card to make a charitable contribution. Isn't that outrageous?

I just signed a petition to the CEOs of all the big credit card companies telling them they need to refund this fee for all the donations to aid organizations working in Haiti and get rid of the fee for all charitable contributions going forward. Will you join me?

2. And all Haiti-bound airplanes should fly for free

and all the fuel companies should donate fuel. They're exploiting Haiti for personal gain too.

Traffic is up on DU, so Skinner is receiving additional ad profits. He's exploiting Haiti. As are television crews and anyone bringing news.

Meanwhile, I bet this moveon.org clown hasn't pulled a penny out of his own pocket.

6. We'd look a bit foolish asking for the waiver of a on-existent fee.

7. Only because someone spoke up.
Otherwise, they'd still be charging a fee.
