6. Come on. The DCCC, DLC, and the DSCC hated him...
He went of on a tizy about a 50 state strategy and left them to fend for themselves. He was right, and we were successful because of it. But they hated Dean, and it would not go smoothly if he were at the helm.

8. I Like Dean, Volunteered, But Even He Got Grief On DU...
The fact of the matter is that it is tough to keep a Democratic coalition together when there are so many forces with an interest in tearing it apart. How many liberals can resist the opportunity offered by Fox News to get air time if they criticize fellow Democrats?

I do think Dean would be doing a better job if he were heading the DNC. However, lets not fool ourselves into thinking it would be easy.
