2. This guy was invited to speak to an assembly at King Phillip High
He decided during the assembly on legislative initiatives to publicly call out, by name, students who had spoken out against him on Facebook over his Anti-gay beliefs AND students who had said less then complimentary things about his daughter and her performance on American idol. He went into an obscenity filled tirade at those high school students, calling them by name, behaving like a petulant child himself. This was during his time as a state senator.

7. and people will actually VOTE for this childish fool.
His daughter sucked on AI. The criticism against her was well deserved... as was the criticism against him for his anti-gay beliefs. If he can't take criticism without throwing a hissy-fit then he sure as hell isn't capable of being Senator.

14. could we at least get the story straight?
he did not go into an obscenity laced tirade at them. What he did was read their obscenity filled posts in an attempt to call them out and shame them. completely yucky and inappropriate but not what you described.

4. He most definitely is, but that's OK with some here.
They'd rather see him in office than vote for a "namby-pamby" Democrat who isn't in favor of nationalizing every corporation and sending the entire US Army to Haiti on a supersonic jet to correct the evils America has perpetrated on that country.

Feh!

17. If he wins the media will crow how the country is becoming more conservative
again. Especially coming from such a liberal bastion state.
