Here's what I've digested from recent posts about the Massachusetts election...
1) There's no point in continuing the campaign, because the Dielbold machines will shift all the votes to the Republican.

2) Even if Coakley wins, she'll be a corporatist sellout and nothing will change in Washington.

3) Whatever happens, the "Mainstreem Media" will spin the story as a repudiation of the Obama Administration

3) Let's face it, it would be better if Coakley lost, because that will help bring about a Single-Payer health care plan before the 2010 election.

Have I forgotten anything?

3. NOBODY said Diebold machines will shift all votes to Republican. It disgusts me to see a DU'er
trying to make a joke out of that.

4. People are preparing their fallback excuses
Because facing the truth of what is happening here - that anti-establishment fervor among average people is red-hot and getting hotter - is too much for people to come to terms with at this time.

7. Nope. That pretty much covers it.
I'm thinking we need a mental health intervention.

8. pretty much sums it up.
But with #2, she would fit right in....I think that already applies to 85% of congress. :(
