Count on LOTS of heckling from Republicans next Wednesday
On guy shouted "YOU LIE" the last time Obama spoke before Congress. He was never held to account for it.

I expect constant heckling next week because there were no consequences and the bullshit actually benefited the fuckhead.

So count on tons of heckling.

It's the new normal.

1. good point. Wilson's boorish behavior made him a bit of a hero among the RW
I am sure that was noticed by others.

2. I was thinking the same thing.
The RepubliCONS will do some heavy heckling at the State of the Union speech. They just can't help themselves.

Too bad heckling was not allowed during the bush years. It would have been fun to watch. Instead all we got was some shoe throwing.

6. Not the state of the Union address
Wilson didn't yell that at the State of the Union address it was at the joint session of congress In August. Talking about the health care bill.

4. One "emotional outburst" is forgivable, from a wise and mature perspective.
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 09:47 AM by sui generis
But from making political hay out of it, further outbursts OF ANY KIND should not be tolerated at all, with prejudice, and should be treated in the harshest possible manner.

If I were me, which I am, I would welcome a repeat of the outburst process for the opportunity to make an example out of someone.

7. while I agree, the problem is that if they are escorted out the RW lunatics will
use that to their advantage and highlight it as the "suppression of free speech"
