Got a question on the pre-marked ballots here in Mass

Since people are finding these ballots and turning them in, there seems to be an actual record as evidence. If Brown wins, wouldn't those marked ballots make a point about voting irregularities? Wouldn't they constitute as fraud? It seems to me that taking about 100,000 of those things and spreading them across the state, just a few going to each precinct, with the intention of nullifying some of the ballots, could result in a major problem.

And who would have been able to get the ballots marked in the first place? It would have meant access at a higher level, something I wouldn't put pass some of the pugs.

Thank goodness Mass. has paper ballots. We already know what the Diebold machines can do.

4. Diebold are used for tabulation but paper ballots are preseved.

As opposed to all digital systems where there is nothing to contest because there is no record, no trail, no paper just a number on a screen.

Basically the paper ballots are scanned via the diebolds which tabulates votes and sets aside ballots which can't be quick scanned to be manually counted.

The diebolds report the count for each precinct and number of "unconfirmed".

If margin of victory is greater than the unconfirmed then they aren't needed. If it isn't then they are available for final tally. All ballots are available for manual recount.

2. Not all precincts have paper ballots-I think some of them have Diebold.
